A frontal covers the whole hairline, ear to ear, so you can pull hair back or wear high ponytails. A closure is smaller, cheaper and lower-maintenance, but only works for down styles.

Cut the lace along your hairline, then secure it with a lace adhesive like Lace Paste or sew it down. Tie it down with an elastic band or scarf for 10–15 minutes to set the melt.

How long does a frontal install last?
